The Nurse's Role in Health Care Waste Management

Nurses play a key role in waste management at any facility in both their management and direct care functions. Any program for improving waste segregation, reducing the cost of waste management, and practicing pollution prevention must first consider how to enlist their enthusiastic support for the design and implementation of such a program.
